That looks a very nice oud! Sounds good too. What I noticed is that you lift your fingers too far up from the fingerboard, you'd better keep them
closer, about one or two centimeters maximum, not more. In the long view this will make your playing more fluent when it comes to faster melodies. I'd
suggest playing lots of scales or maqamat and watch out for my fingers. I always have a mirror in my practising place to have an eye on what my right
and left hand are doing. I'm also a beginner and have to learn new things, apart from having lots of experience playing guitar. But the right hand
technique is very special with the oud, I always have to watch out for my movements and how my hand feels when playing.
