Arabic Music learning without knowing Arabic

Hi All,
Is there any book or resource for learning arabic music for a person who does not know any arabic language and know only English language. Please share.

Hi Rajan,
There are many resources, it depends on what you are looking for : Playing, theory (maqams)... If you are interested in learning maqams, I can suggest to you the Maqam book (David Mualem) it's quite comprehensive, with good text and 40 demonstrations played by kanun. To know about the history, you can read The music of the arabs (Habib Hassan Touma). I'm sure that other member will suggest others resources for oud, websites... or others topics related to arabic music.

Maqam El Oud (Volume 1 & Volume 2) by Charbel Rouhana is a nice book about Oud.
