Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and was wondering if I could get some help. My dad has been playing the oud for over 50 years and has 4 of them. He is thinking
of selling 3 of them but we don't know much about them.
One of the ouds we have says "UT YAPIM EVI 1980" on the inside. Does anyone know anything about this oud?
Thanks,

It's definitely Turkish. UT presumably is a spelling variant of UD meaning oud, while yapım means production and evi means house...therefore the
label just means oud workshop 1980! Do you have any more information? Some pictures would help.
All the best
