Well, it had to happen at some point, I guess. My newest purchase, an oud made by the son of Bedrossian, seems to be coming apart. I've attached a
photo below. Any recommendations on where I can have this fixed before the pegbox snaps off? Any idea how much a repair like this would run me up?
I'm in Orange County; I know people will suggest Najatian but I have consistently heard over the years that he's backed up with work for months at a
time.
Thanks, everyone!

I think Simon Shaheen's brother, William Shaheen, lives in So. Cal. If memory serves, he's done some oud repair in the past. He doesn't seem to have
much of a web presence. Here is his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/william.shaheen.3?lst=1345240209%3A10000047...

As far as I know William is very knowledgeable about oud, but doesn't do any repairs.

Can you get up to Bay Area? Gary Haggerty does great work.
I'm having deja vu that I've already answered this post but don't see a reply from me.

If William Shaheen is not repairing ouds, check with Wael Kakish. He the director of the Kan Zaman Ensemble, and my "go-to guy" for oud-related
information in So. Cal.: http://www.kanzaman.org/director.html
