Very sad news, I still find it hard to believe. I was speaking with him before Christmas and kept intending to send him my greetings for the new year
or giving him a call and catching up...now I wish I did.
Adel was a great oud player, musician, teacher and also someone I considered a friend.
I miss so many little things already: going to see him in Lyon, having coffee with him, and him always insisting you try the olive oil with zaatar,
going out for dinner, having a glass of wine and having long discussions and debates about music, about the oud, about life.
I will miss the oud lessons he gave me, I will miss his music, I will miss him. May he rest in peace. الله

I'm deeply shocked by this terrible news.... I talked with him on the phone just one month ago, nothing that could let me think that this would
happen.
Adel was a wonderful musician, teacher and a wonderful person and friend with a deep heart... I'll miss him a lot. A great loss for music but above
all my thoughts go to his family and especially his young children that he was so proud of...

Sad news, so sorry to hear this. I echo all the nice words that have been written. Adel was loved and he will be missed very much.
