What’s up y’all- Can anyone suggest an Oud shop or maker in Morocco? I’m going to be there in November and if possible I’m gonna grab me
another Oud. Quality work only please, I’m sure there’s millions of tourist Ouds all over the place...

Where will you be in Morocco? I know a shop in Casa and one in Rabat that have a good selection. Let me know I can track down their contact info.

If Khalid Belhaiba is still making ouds I would recommend checking them out. I visited his workshop in Casablanca years ago and tried a number of
ouds, which were well made.

Yes he still does, however he usually does not have any available for sale anymore as all his work is now custom orders.

Good point, I dd visit Samir, a couple of years ago, his workshop is between Casa and Rabat (Boznika), and he can pick you up from the train station.
He makes great Ouds and might have some for sale. He's also a great guy and a Oud fanatic! I can give you his contact info if you want.

the best way to get a prof oud is to contact one of the best oud makers in morrocco (casablanca area) and order it now:
1- khaled belhaiba
2- samir abbassi
3- majid attik
if you need any help for contact let me know .
the price depend on the wood you prefer: Maple, mahogany..rose wood........sound board..etc

There are a number of quality oud makers in Morocco, however most of them don't have ready made ouds with them all the time. What city are you going
