I guess like how there is a cumbus I decided to build a buzuq with a resonator cone. Maybe it'll sound similar to a Persian Tar. I used a 6" resonator
cone meant for cigar box guitars, if I decide I need more volume I can easily install a piezo disc under the cone.
I used American black walnut for the body, Eastern curly rock maple for the neck and west African Ebony for the fingerboard.
