While searching for info on Sherif Muhiddin, I came across this page from his Oud method, which the publisher claims that it was in the hand writing
of Muhiddin. It explains in a tabular format, each string and all its positions on it, showing which finger to use to get the pitches on the
string.
May be it might be of some value and benefit to the forum members.
