I have 1931 karibyan ud and I’m looking for the best strings for him.( sound and tension).
If you have any recommendations please let me know.

Depending on the (a) tuning used (turkish or arabic), (b) the string lenth and (c) the preferred tension you can calculate your personal string set. I
personally like a relatively low tension on antique ouds, around 3-3.4 kg per string and can recommend Pyramid Strings (Germany).
