Hi, I am not sure if you already have this, I have the oud method book by Safar Ali and Abd Al-Munin Arafah. It has a short bio or Safar Ali (and a
few other composers/players) along with about 5 of his compositions. My edition if from 1990, the first edition was 1942. I believe you can still buy
this in Egypyt. Let me know if you want me to scan the bio for you, btw is has a picture of him also.
