I'm helping a friend sell her decently made lady's oud. Owner paid $875 for it, but will probably take a lot less for it. Syrian made and label says
Fouad Haydar and Sons. Sound is not that bad really, pegs could use some tender love and care. They don't really slip, but that is the problem. They
are pretty hard to tune...nothing some peg lubricant won't fix though. Not a big problem really, but other than that it is solidly built and would be
an excellent starter oud. Email me if you are interested.

Somebody paid $875 for that???
I would not pay more than $87.
It seems a good instrument to give to a child.

You can find good deals on ebay for ouds that are 100 bucks or less. Who knows, maybe you will get lucky and find a fake Fadel oud that won't stay in
tune?

It would be perfect for a child or a women. Many people think something like that wouldnt sound good. I think we know now that the bracing and the
quality of the soundboard and a oud can sound good with a big crack across the back. This one seems bulit nicely for a syrian oud. The pickgard
reminds me of suckar ouds...maybe there of the same workshop.
