hi everyone,
I was browsing today and found a website for electric ouds that I had not seen before. I guess it is new: http://electricoud.com
I was wondering if anyone knows who this is? It seems that in the electric oud world no one has any creativity. Everyone is using Najarians design.

I personally own a Najarian electric oud and it is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. The action is very nice and the sound/tone cannot be matched,
even by my three acoustic ouds. It is a superior instrument and is a great joy to play. As for the electric oud on that website, I would be careful in
purchasing any oud unseed (in person) let alone an electric oud. If the electronics are not setup correctly, you could be in for a BIG (negative)
surprise!

hi buddys
orahim is right I would be careful in purchasing any oud unseed too.
and unfortunedly i had this negative surprise!!!
with the electronics of my e-oud from turkey (not far from izmir!)
the pick up is still out of order.....
and the "cort" preamp that is installed is the cheapest on the marked
if you don't have the money for the najarian one
ckeck out the e-oud of cankaya music http://www.cankayamuzikevi.com/katalog10.htm
this is a fine instrument with high quality fishman pu-system
my advice beware of other turkish e-ouds
honestly i don't know the oud shown on your link
