I know that there have been a couple of suggestions, but what is the easiest way to reduce the file size?
Thanks

The most appropriate way with MP3 files is to re-encode them at a lower data rate. Of course this also reduces the quality.
With pictures, it is a similar story. Reduce the "image" size of the picture or reduce the resolution (number of dots per inch) and always use a high
compression format like jpeg or gif.
I hope that helps.

I found a simple MP3 bit rate converter at <http://www.helpfulsoft.com> It is shareware - free for thirty days and $10 after that. If you want
a completely free one, then do a search on google - Freeware MP3 bit rate converter - and you will find one.bcearthtones - 9-21-2005 at 05:52 AM
N-Track studio is another shareware that recodes mp3's the encoder that comes with it is actually stand alone freeware and there is instructions for
stand alone use on the web. You could also search for free encoders on About.com, I usually have good luck with audio/video tools through them.
