Just for fun, I listened to the Fairuz tape and wrote the melody out over the weekend. But it occurs to me: Maybe you are looking for the melody and
lyrics together?
Maybe Wassim Noujeim, the webmater of http://www.farid-el-atrache.com/ can help (though it's not in his book or in the free music section of his web page).

can someone direct me to a simplified oud instrumental of the song. I am trying to play it based off the sheet music and I am a bit stuck.
Also I am not sure if I am reading the sheet music right but I dont know which octive to play in. If I Play in low octive it feels to low. A higher
poctive matches farouz' voice but it forces me to play down the neck and sound board.
I tune my oud CFADGF. thanks,
