Hey guys I need some help. I have a relative who is in egypt and jordan and wants to bring back some gifts to the states. im trying to direct him to
a place to get quality ouds from cairo.
He cant spend more than 300 per oud. Im trying to get some with at least ebony pegs and an ebony fingerboard.
Does anyone have any clues on where to go for the price.
Also can someone email me or U2U me about negotiating for a shehata oud in this price range while he is out there.
I would love a response ASAP.

there are two luthiers i think you should check
1:jafar that builds bashir style ouds. the pegs might not be ebony
but he has some nice ouds
2:marko same as above but also builds classic ouds
for the price i think it would start somewere around 300 for the basic models
