Hi Guys,
I bought this oud from Najib Shaheen of New York 3 years ago. I liked the sound of it and that's why I bought it. It's a Syrian oud made
by Mohammad Khalifeh of Damascus. The face is not in so great shape as you can see. However the sound is not really affected.. there are no major
cracks or anything like that on it.. it has a thin finish coat on the face. the action is perfect on the fingerboard. and it tunes nicely.. I took
out some strings but I can put a new set on if it sold. It also comes with soft case. I'm selling it for $200.00 even though I bought it for
much more than that. well let me know.. e-mail is : halabono@aol.com I have more pictures if you want.. I couldn't figure out how to post them
on the same post.

Its "Mouaffaq" not "Mohammed" as you can read on the rosette.
You should not have paid more than $ 300 for it, unless Najib did MAJOR reshaping of the braces.
As I can see the face is the original wide-grained wood, might even be pine.

Hello halabi
I want to see more photo of the oud. It is oud back and pegbox, etc.
How many cm is the string length of the oud?
Regards,
