Without getting into my personal feelings and overheated debate about how my government is not acting as fast as it should have in this disaster
PLEASE try to give to help.
HELP! many are dying.

Andy,
I am sure I speak for all forum members when I say that our hopes and prayers are with the folks whose lives have been devastated by this tragedy.
Please tell us what practical things we can do to assist.
Regards,
Greg

Hi Greg,
Thank you Greg. I live in Massachusetts and have no relatives or anyone that I know down there but I do know these are people who are in desperation.
I will donate to the Salvation Army since I know they are helping and my very concerned wife works for them. If anyone wants to give I am sure most
religions are collecting. Hopefully there will not be too much more suffering and misery.
Sincerely,
Andy

Hey guys,
Andy, thanks for encouraging people to help. I would say if anybody is interested in donating, be careful. There are many bogus websites already
online taking "donations". Stick to the reputable ones like www.redcross.org or www.salvationarmyusa.org. You can also check some other places to donate or help at the FEMA website.
When a disaster anywhere in the world occurs, the great country of America is always right there for assistance. I hope the world is ready to
reciprocate.

Thanks Mike, I know we are always there to help around the world but this goes to show that a disaster can hit anywhere.
