I was just wondering if any of you guys will be at NAMM in January. It would be great to meet some of the people from the forum. I'm not sure how
many oud makers will be there but I assume there will be several.

website

I am considering coming over to attend NAMM, but I am a bit disappointed by the hefty registration fee (US$200). Over the years, I have attended
broadcast equipment exhibitions in places like Sydney, Amsterdam, Hannover, Singapore, Mumbai and several times in Las Vegas, but have never had to
pay more than a token registration fee.
I guess NAMM has more of a retail focus and the organizers want to make big money at both ends - from the exhibitors AND the buyers.
My .02c worth.

Greg

As Greg mentioned, NAMM is very expensive to go to. I could be wrong but I also thatought that you had to be affiliated with a dealer, music store,
etc. and could not just be someone off the street. It is a great place to see new equipment though!!
