Happy new year all
I hope that all of us will have a new oud this year
I myself want 1 Yourob 1 Foad Jehad 1 Nazeeh Gadban 1 Fawzi Monshed and only 1Nahat. All I need is to get the lottary numbers correct this year. But
at least I have one Chehatta made for me this year.

Hi,
I'm surprised nobody noticed this yet. This is such a rare wood nowadays, and a chance to hear it on a new oud is even more of a novelty. I have to
say Maurice Shehata did a fantastic job, such a warm sound, and such sweet resonance. I couldn't help commending him on this when we last spoke.
Longa, you also play as if you feel and enjoy every single note...this is also becoming a novelty today.
Enjoy your oud in good health, and please post more pictures and sound files. This would make a great addition to
Jameel and Samir's upcoming oud database project.
