Thanks for posting this. What a great video. Is this from a movie? Is there more footage of the oud making?? As you can imagine, I am fascinated by
it. Do you know who the oud maker is ?

Hey guys,
I'm glad you liked the video. I totally dug it the first time I saw it. Amazing footage really. Jameel, yeah it is from a German movie called,
"Al Oud". Only the very beginning of the movie shows what goes into making an oud. The maker is Abdo Dagher.

Have you seen "The Red Violin"? It is kinda like that, but for oud.
