hi mike, can you tell me how you get your pyramid strings? I want to get the orange pack, but it only has the 5 sets (10 strings), how do i get the
single/double bass string from pyramid also? Also, do you get the third set plain nylon white or the silver-pl wire w. and whats better?

How's the oud man? I got a bunch of sets when I was in Egypt a few years back. But like you said, they only consist of the five courses. I
ordered the single basses from Max Junger. The orange set (which is
what I use) has wound D-strings. I prefer them over nylon.

the oud is pretty good. It doesn't sound as good as yours in your instructional videos but maybe that could be because im still not that great of
a player but im getting better 
to order the single basses what do I
ask for, meaning what note, D? and thickness and all of that. This is the oud by the way

Hey merc,
If I remember correctly, the strings I ordered were "F". I think the guage was around .042 or .043. But Max will be very helpful. I tune it
down to "C" with no problems at all.
