i wanted to make everyone aware that there is a new oud model being constructed! i have had the privilege of seeing the blueprints of it as well! it
was at a stringed instrument convention in dubai. im not sure of how its going to be tuned yet i know that the face is going to be geometric and it
has already been patented. the maker wrote that the sound is intended to be a "deep resonating voice, like the plea of a sad man". it was
made in recognition of the bosnian genocide.
