it was kool and all but i think in my opinion is the back up orcastra killed the oud player he sounded awesome by him self

I agree the oud player was beautiful on his own. However, the orchestra made the effect bigger and interesting. I think they kept the spirit of the
music which is usually the down fall.
I think few people grasp the significance among the world's great music traditions of the classical middle eastern music. If I remember correctly
this samai is Turkish or Armenian or written by a Turk or Armenian in Egypt?
