Hi Guys
Can anyone help me to identify this Takasim and the Oud player? I think its in Maqam Bayati. I got this one back in 2001 tru the internet but there is
no description on it. Sorry for the poor quality (its a straight way recording from my player to cool edit) The file is in my MD and I cant transfer
it properly coz of the copyright law (SONY ATTRAC format) I will try to find away and resend it again with better quality!

I try many times to upload the files but it seems not working-Im not sure why (the file is 2.27mb) is it too large?

Whoa, it's huge. Send it to me in my e-mail and I'll try to shrink it down for you. Quality is gonna suck though if it's already bad,

Does anyone got a clue who could be playing this takasim? Like maybe similar style to this or is it a kind of classic takasim that been played by old
oud master? Any guess??

don't you remember where or when you recorded or downloaded this taksim?
i can hear voices in the background...may be like tv goin'on.....
anyway, i can't really say who is playin', looks to me like egyptian style of play???,some years ago....
i love it anyway....thks

Well I dont have any information on this really
The file was downloaded back in
2000 where I was just started to learn the oud) I was using napster to download songs and also for oud takasim etc. I didnt really pay attention that
time so I just download it and save the file on my MD.
It sound very Arabic but nice and simple-I think its in maqam bayati. Try listen to the takasim bayati below by El Qasabji (the intro start with a
similar style) so I thought maybe his student or i dont know..could be anybody really.
