I purchased this kanun last year from my late friend Al Gardner Bardezbanian. He used it as his primary kanun before I bought it. He had the skins and
bridge completely re-made by Peter Kyvelos. Set up for Turkish classical repertoire, it has the best quality mandalls, hand finished, very smooth.
Also ideal for Arab repertoire due to the greater number of mandalls.
I'm asking $2000 for this kanun, but like any good Arab, I'm ready to haggle.

Jameel,
I remember seeing this beauty in Al's house...He loved this qanun...anyone who gets it will be lucky. Peter did a great job on this gorgeous
instrument, as he always does. Good luck and congratulations to whoever gets to play this unique treasure.

I've lowered the price on this kanun to $1650.
Really a fantastic price for this instrument.
I'll ship it for free in the Unites States, and deduct that amount from international shipping.Jameel - 2-5-2007 at 05:17 AM
