cutthroat and unless you have a lot of talent and perhaps luck too, it could be hard to make a living doing this. If you make the wrong decision now,
you could spend your whole life regretting it. Is it possible to talk to people in your city who make a living from music to find out a realistic
picture of what it is really like to work in that area? I don't mean to sound negative or patronising, but as a young and idealistic student it is
often easy to form a picture of how things are that is far removed from reality. Unfortunately I have learnt this to my cost, so I would urge you to
find out all the facts before you choose a particular career path.
