I have an egyptian oud, but it is very bad sounding. the strings make a zipping sound when the vinger vibrates on it it. also, there is a wierd
click sound when each string is plucked. I think this is a problem in the strings. I know that I have nylon strings, and I heard they are not too
good. I was wondering if anyone can advise me of a better kind of string and a good place to get them from.

you might wanna tight the strings really well .. coz I have nylon strings and their sound is very good . so the strings have nothing to do with that I
think..
