Hi Zal,
I have one of Furat Qaddouri's CDs, and he is one of the best Arabic-style qanoun players I've ever heard.
Unfortunately, the CDs are available in the West only through Fassiphone, a Belgian company which has the worst customer service by far that I have
ever experienced for on-line buying. (It took me 5 months and about 12 e-mails to order, convinced them I'd paid, convince them I'd ordered, and
receive the CD.) I e-mailed Furat about the situation, suggesting that he try to get Rashid Sales or Maqam.com to distribute for him. He never
replied.
It would be great if other Forum members would get on Fassiphone's and Furat's case a little about this. He deserves better!
