In shehata ouds ones, you are righthanding an ebony oud, is it ebony? macassar, mpingo (blackafrican wood)??
what is the wood of soundboard ??Is it also ebony ??, how does it sounds??.
Seems to be heavier than the one you finally kept.
What a nice atmospher in all the photos, all people are happy, allways big smiles glued to faces like bananas...

shehata ouds description

mine (61,5 scale lenght) is made of palisander and ebony with spruce face and the other (58,5 scale) rosewood or palisander with two pieces cedar
face, probably made for Ahmed Fathy.
The sound of my oud is wonderful, rich, deep and bright and work perfectly with my schertler din-g pickup

I have video of Mamdoh El Gibaley playng a taksim and another wonderful peace and video of Mahamoud Kalifa and friends in Bahreya oasy, I will try to
