Mimmo,
Can you give some info on the sets you have made? Scale length info, tension, tuning? Are you actually from Aquila company? Please elaborate....
about questions on Aquila Nylgut strings

Ciao Jameel and other friends!
Thank you about the questions.
Yes, I am one of the Aquilastring leader; the stringmaker precisely.
Time ago I invented the nylgut.
My dream was to discover a substance with the same gut sound but with the high resistence and lower cost of the nylon.
So, after many experiments and mistakes I was luky.
I have made a copia of a La Bella Oud set tuned so:
dd, aa, ee, BB, AA, G : is this a common set? I have seen that the tuning is always with fourths. This will help me very much.
I do not know what vibrating string length this set was made.
Anyway, my intention is to verify if string tensions of such sets are correct or if need changed some of them.
Yes, I hope to improve the sound by mean of nylguts and after checking tensions.
Ciao and thank you!
I have forgotten to specify my mail that is

...my mistake..the lower cost of gut, not nylon.
Sorry..
