I am going to Egypt next month for 18 days with a group of Australian bellydancers. I have asked the tour organiser to arrange for me to visit some
instrument makers while I am in Cairo. Would anyone suggest particular Oud makers I should try to visit?

Just ask tour operator to leave you all free at Shari3a Muhammad Ali (Muhammad Ali street), where you can make zig-zag visiting an oud and instrument
maker shop each zig and each zag...
Everybody knows this street, and of course pay a visit to Maurice Shehata workshop.
