A lot of oud makers unfortunately have vulgar taste, or they do what ever for the $$.......one maker in Syria was trying to add XX amount of money to
add my name to the soundhole ornamentation..... I strongly refused........The picture is a silly addition and a poor taste on the behalf of the

I would personally pay more for better sound quality rather than personalisation. Unless if i am a pro one day ensha allah and i am much sorted for,
by then i can also afford the extra personalisation then i think it might be an advantage!
