Dear advanced oudist players
I plan to go to Casablanca, just few days and i would like to bring back an oud. But problem : Is it possible to invert the strings on the oud to
play as left-handed? cause I suppose the lute maker don't have left-handed ou in stock
Will be any problem regarding the bridge, the nut and also the barrel of the soundboard? what about the sound?

thx for your tips

2 problems
1. The first peg will interfere with your hand playing in first position.
2. The sound will be compromised because although the oud appears to be symettrical, a good oud has subtle differences in the soundboard and bracing
to balance the strings. Reversing the strings upsets this balance.
