hi everybody a couple of days ago a friend of mine send me some interesting pictures of the oldest turkish oud i ve ever seen so i wanted to share
them with you guys.
the information that my friend send to me basicly says that it was made in 1818 by KASTAMONU ZADE TEVFIK EFENDI that s all i know about
i ve tried to upload the picts on here maybe a hundred times but it s not working i ve tried to download it by using attachment and several hotlink
pages but so far none have worked here becouse of that i wont be able to share those pict for with youguys i am sorry guys i think something s wong
with the page.
i can post the hotlink here but it wont open when u try to open it or the pict wont show itself.

The bowl is curious, never seen the ribs ending in the middle of the bowl like a navel.

I asked about the same oud and got some information from Jonathan. See Kevork Mazloomian thread at Oud projects forum March 11-12.
I would still be interested if somebody knows mizrapli tanburs with this construction...
