Is this oud worth bidding on?

Hi to all,
I posted a few days ago and this great forum saved me from buying a cheap tourist oud. I have read with delight many of the posts in each forum category and looked at Haluk's ouds and ouds from nile, turkishouds.com etc. Unfortunately even these ouds are more than I can pay. My current budget is $200 and $250 would be pushing it. So I continue to look for bargains.

My question is this: Is this oud in the attached pictures worth bidding on? I could swear that I saw one that looked like it on one of the forums (or one of the other various sites I have visited).

Thanks to all

Ron

dude- if that thing is going for $250, then I would most def. bid on it- but make sure that there's no serious damage

anywhere- that looks like a well built piece of work, but whats inside (like bracing, sound, precision, etc.) is what really

counts- ask for an assesment on the condition and a sound file- then bid away man- but thats just my opinion...

Ron,

Los Angeles. I say unfortunately because I'm originally from San Francisco/Oakland. The contrast can be overwhelming sometimes- Im still getting used to the Republicans, 90 Degree weather, traffic at all times/everywhere and the smog, you know? It can be tough...

tarik,

i know what you mean. born and raised there. currently i live in chartres, france for three months and then los angeles for three months and then chartres for three months and... well you get the idea.

every time i return it takes longer to accustom myself.
