I happened on this by googling "oud for sale." The seller claims that this was the 20th oud GHN made. Cool oud, but 18k is way out of line, IMO.

It's on ebay now with a starting price of US $1,450.00. Quite a difference eh?

This oud was out on sale again on ebay 2 weeks ago or was it 3 weeks?,oh well but it seems that the seller ended the auction before it actually
started (live auction). I wonder now if any member here have run in to this oud on the web when it seem to be an impulsive lady who owns it and
can’t make her mind up whether she shall sell it or not.

The lady is an antique dealer who stubled on this oud in an estate. The last word I heard was that it was going on the block at some big auction
houses. She does have ambition I'll say.

Sometimes even on Ebay there can be scams and it's there where "too good to be true" happens all the time. Imagine sending $10,000. to some lady from
somewhere and having it be bogus and no oud gets sent to your house. Bad medicine. D.L.

The oud is out again on ebay and this type of business practise from this lady, I am sure that the oud will remain unsold....
