Does any one know something about Tharwat Saber, an egyptian oud maker? Or perhaps have acquired an oud from him and would show us what his ouds sound
and look like ?

Did a Google search and found this:

Some of the ouds are made by 'Tharwat' and some say by 'T. Saber'. Maybe that will help.

Thank you Nathan,
An interesting thing that I picked up from an arabic google is the possibility that the Morad Al-Turky might be an apprentice of Tharwat Saber.
Actually, this is what got me curious about the name.

Hamid

I talked to him in Cairo last summer but didn't have the chance to go meet him, his workshop happens to be in a very busy part of town.
He seems - from my short discussion with him - to be working on a consignment basis most of the time, especially on his electric ouds, but I'm sure
he does custom orders as well.
I know this isn't much but i hope this helps.
