I didn't know you played with that group Doc. I have your Christmas CD. Very nice!

I just joined them a month ago. It's a high energy band, w/ Michael Beech as the focus, superb hand drummer, another trap drummer, bass keyboards and me. Everyone is a seasopned vetern w/ backgrounds in rock, reggae and just super good. I'm bringing the traditional sound with oud, santur and some ney, and working on my solid electric to add the poweer to keep up w/ the rock tunes. It's too much fun, but a lot of work to catch up with the repetoire and arrangements. I've recorded some tracks for the new CD, but it isn't completed yet. Anybody got a lead for booking agents? especially international ones?

Doc, let us know if any of these locales will be webcasting your performance. Or podcasting or whatever so we can hear you.

I expect to get some performance CD's that I can post afterwards, but no web casts that I know of. KPIG in Santa Cruz will be broadcasting the Felton show, - if you can get reception. I played the oudcaster with a local electric guitar player last week and he thought it was a very unique sound, it rocks!

I'm very sad to say that I'll be out of town for the Monterey performance. I used to play at Monterey Live (in a funk group) when it was called Viva's. Anyway, I'll be down in San Diego at Comic Con and regret to say, I'll miss this show. I would have loved to see and hear the oudcaster and see how it sounds compared to my Najarian electric. Have fun!
