Oud tabs

what about Oud tabs, maybe something like this,

C------------------------------------------------------------
F------------------------------------------------------------
A-------------------------------------------------------------
d-------------------------------------------------------------
g--------------------------------------------------------------
c---------------------------------------------------------------

Since there are no frets we can use letters representing which finger so that would help you put it in the right spot of close to the right spot so I guess maqam bayati would be something like

F-First finger M-Middle finger R- Ring finger O-open

C-----------------O-F
F----------O-F-R
A-O-F-R
d
g
c

C-F-O
F------R-F-O
A-------------R-F-O
d
g
c

I dont know Im just thinking, what do you think?

I don't know if this should be useful..
I made it on excel for my 7 strings oud (cfadgcf)
and converted on pdf
1,2 3,4 are the tone and semitone position for the relative fingers, the gaps between each number for the quarter tones
ale.

we should try to use maybe some kind of tabs and put songs into them
