Ihab Nimer- a master oud and violin player- was also at Abu Alla's that day says Adel is a great man and a great oud player.
Im familier with Abu Alla's ouds and he is getting better and improving them- the sound is becoming more cllasic and thats the sound i preffer. the
"finish" and small details of his ouds are perfect.
One day il have one myself...

In my opinion, Adel Salameh is one of the finest players and composers in the world today. I loved the taqsim you posted to Youtube, I would have
liked to hear more.
The oud also sounded very nice and Adel seemed to be very impressed with it.

Thanks for posting these photos and the video of Adel with Abu Alla. Awesome stuff my friend. I've always been very impressed with the craftsmanship
of Ustaz Abu Alla. His ouds have a lot of character and the quality of his work looks excellent. Very nice.
And I'm with you Greg...Adel ain't so bad either.
