They are just releasing a new cd called "Majâz" i think end october or november. In fact it will be a quatuor because percussionist Yousef Hbeisch is
also performing in the CD. Then they will be touring France end 2007. And the USA as frm february 2008.

A response to Hamed's comment- Well they are in the entertainment business after all and you must admit that it is entertaining, ( even if it does
look a bit O.T.T, hehe!)
zalzal - 10-27-2007 at 09:23 AM
what is the meaning of "O.T.T, he he" ?
amtaha - 10-27-2007 at 09:53 AM
I haven't been in chat rooms in a long time, but I'm guessing it means "over the top", an expression describing something excessive ...
I can't see what is it that is excessive, though ... great chemisty and great sounds ..
Sazi - 10-27-2007 at 04:39 PM
Amtaha, yes you're right it does mean over the top, - but that is not my opinion, -I love them, just meant that some people might think it ott,-
me, I think it's wonderful !

I personally think they are over the top in their playing. They lack a certain "looseness", and they don't emphasize the difference between the maqams
enough, it always sounds more or less like nahawand, regardless of the actual "scale".
