Hi! I recently received an Oud from Jordan. The problem is that, while the bridge is set up for 11 strings, the nut is only notched for 5 courses.
I have tried contacting Khalaf Ouds with no reply to see how much a nut for 11 strings would cost (I had not given him the dimensions). Shall I
just do mathematics and make new grooves on the existing nut? Can anyone point me in a different direction?

I'll make you a nut if you send me the specs. It's always a bit of a gamble whether it will fit right because ouds can be so different, but we can
