Two Turkish ouds on eBay.
The maker is Ender Göktepe.
They seem to be both nice instruments.
Any opinion ?

Second Maple oud without pickguard.I wonder why?
Prices seems expensive to me.

For a liitle more money you can get a custom made oud from someone like Nazih Ghadban and have a great oud AND a work of art.

Notice the guiter type bridge on the first one?

I see this Sazi. I wonder how this type of bridge affects the tone. It would certainly make it easy to adjust the height of the strings by adding or
removing material from the underside of the saddle. It would also be easy to install a ribbon type of pick-up such as the B-Band under the saddle. Has
anyone actually looked into the tonal implications of using this bridge on an oud?

Hi Roy, I was wondering that myself, I'm certain intonation would be improved , as in the bashir style floating bridge. I just typed <guitar
bridge> into Mike's search box and....too much to mention, lot's of opinions and comments, some from owners of ouds with this kind of bridge, JT
loves the tone of his from Frank Turunz.
