I just arrived from Istanbul, I spent a wonderful day in Veysel Müzik Evi workshop. I met Dr. Cengiz Sarıkuş he is a very kind and friendly
person, we spent a day talking, playing and watching their new instruments and its amazing old instruments collection.
I put some pictures of my new acquisitions Lavta and tambur.
I must say that the workmanship of their instruments is perfect and sound even better
I am very happy with my new instruments.
Many thanks
warmest regards to Gengiz, Veysel and all who were in the workshop.

What does it take to view their videos? I was interested in the video of the ahenk but the link did nothing (in Firefox on a Mac).
Trying to remember where Millet Cad. is. I'll be in Istanbul in a couple of weeks. I'll try to call in.

I was playing the Ahenk and I liked a lot, is very rich in harmonics and very nice.
