Hi all,
I attended this wonderful oud concert few months ago in Jordan, and felt really bad that I didn't record the whole thing on camera (thinking that
we'll get a chance to buy the CD/DVD at the end....but oh well.... ).
However, felt really reliefed to see the following videos somewhat taken (apparently by a freind of the nice Hungarian guitarist Balint Petz):

The talents of the late Munir Bashir were well passed to his awsome son, Omar Bashir.
Below is another great oud play by Omar alongside a nice guitar player:

Wanted to share those lovely oud plays, and hope you guys like 'em as much as I did
Regards,
O.P.

really inspiring to see the beautiful combination of oud and guitar in these excellent players hands, and some of Munir's talents have definitely been
passed on to Omar.
Very exciting music and full of 'duende'....I can hear the great Paco de Lucia's influence in this music.
Thanks for posting the clips O.P.!

J'adore! His play is a limpid and burning torrent, a true Mediterranean Sundance!
