Hi mafine, Gawhaet el fan is a Cairo based musical instrument company established in 1940. I have just ordered thier walnut and ebony professional
model from www.sphinx shop because i need a better oud and I love the look of this one. It is being made right now and should be wtih me by the end of
the month I dont know who the maker(s) is. Essam is the person who took my order, I emailed him and asked him to comment on the sound quality of the
model, he said it will be a high quality professional instrument. Mike said he knows someone who is very happy with his G el fan oud. I will post my
views and the outcome when my oud arrives.
