hello folks; i just discovered this wonderful improvisation played by Amine Mraihi on his last cd Mani nesi. great playing great sense of rythm . new sound of oud and different sentences from what we are genrally used to listen on the ud. i really wanted to share that with all you oud lovers and i m sure you will enjoy it as much as i did. we discover here a different use of the instrument not jsut as a mean to express tarab but as a serious expressiveness weapon :)

hi- there is a free download called 'Wavepad' by NCH.
you can upload your mp3/wav file and in the 'effects' section you are able to add compression and save the compressed file.
then it might be easier to upload it into the forum.
try a web search on it. good luck!

Hi iloveoud,
The maximum file size you can upload to the forums is 1 MB.
I would suggest you make only part of one track into an mp3.
That will not only reduce the size, but it would be more appropriate than to upload a full track from a commercially available CD.

Regards,

Greg

I will compress it for you. Send it to mike@mikeouds.com

After compressing it significantly, I still couldn't get it below 1MB without losing all kinds of quality. So I just uploaded it, and here is the link to download.
