Do someone know this player.
Probably Morrocan.
Nice taqsim.
And a nice oud.
I like the rosettes.
Anyone knows the maker of the oud.

Hi, Microber.
I recall watching this performance on the Moroccan TV Channel.
After a search for some other youtube videos of this player,
his name was mentioned and is:
Dr. Nasser Houari
Here's the only website solely dedicated to him that I could find:
http://perso.wanadoo.net.ma/houari/index.htm

Ts'Barch Allah alik indeed. Great Performance :-)

I was surfing YouTube last night and came across some of Dr. Houari's videos. Here is his YouTube account:

Interesting that he's a pharmacist!

I've come across the doc's video clips before on youtube and enjoyed his playing very much; very nice touch and very expressive.
Did you notice that in one clip posted just above by stringmanca ( Some more videos: ...= O7AFLgCm..) at about 0:18-0:24 seconds into this taqsim he really hits some bluesy sounding riffs, also in a few other spots.
I reckon being a pharmacist he knows music to about be the best drug!;)

Haha, yes! That's awesome. I've accidentally played blues on my Oud before, I was playing the Rast chord, and I slid my fingers up and down the fretboard slighty, causing that blues effect. :D

By the way, I'm pretty sure I saw him live when I was in Morocco. It's just I never really got a proper look at him, and it was going dark, but I am nearly 100% sure that was his playing style... (it was outside on a big stage if you're wondering. I also took a picture, but it came out blurred. :( )
