Hi guys,
Can someone who knows Nahat labels and Arabic much better than me help identify this oud? Probably not by the Ikhwan Nahat (Abdo & Roufan), but
by Taoufiq and Iskender???

hi mavrothis,
for me it's a "nahat", very probably an "ikhwan nahat" but at there first period,
judging by the picgard, the design of the oud, the pegbox... but the bridge is changed... is it yours ? can you give an idea about the sound ?

Hi guys,
Unfortunately this is not my oud, I don't even know where it is located. A friend of mine sent me the pictures and asked me to help, so of course the
first thing I did was post here. I don't know the Nahat ouds very well, and my Arabic is not so good.
I will see if I can get a better picture of the label.

Taufiq, first word may very well
say "shghl" - meaning work of. Nice looking oud

This oud Şamli İskender and Şamli kutmanizade tevfik brothers made oud.they were born at damascus and they are suryanian family and
they are tre brothers ,biggest brother Samli selim ,midle brother tevfik at the and of the brother İskender .They have been tre music shop in
istanbul at Vezneciler .My father have their live knowlic .
Tevfik picture is right on the label.
