There is no label.
I know I've seen these before, but can't remember where.
Thanks so much, am grateful!

at first glance it looks like one of those internet fake fadels...just a guess.

Interesting!
I bought it this afternoon at the Berkeley Musical Instrument exchange.
It had been sitting there for a long time. Looked horrible. Had been subjected to a number of very badly done repairs by obviously incompetent
people- though this was long before it arrived at the exchange, which is a competent and reputable shop.
I tuned it up out of curiosity and it had an enormous, amazing sound.
The neck is thick, which makes it hard to play, and the action is a little high for my taste.
But it has some sort of interesting quality so I brought it home - they charged very little for it.
It is really hard to find a good oud around here (in San Francisco.) I now have four non-great ouds, and really would like to take the leap and get a
good instrument, but I can't imagine buying an instrument at a distance without playing it first...

This is a standard FAKE Fadel Hussein probably made in Syria.
DO NOT PAY FOR THIS AS ORIGINAL.
